Parent and Toddler Fitness

Every Tuesday throughout May we are holding a series of fitness sessions for Parents and Toddlers 10-11am at the Bandstand with Helen the Wild Coach. Bring your little ones along to the park for some friendly fitness sessions in the fresh air, it is £3 per adult, please email [email protected] to reserve a place.

Primal Movement

Reconnect with your primitive self and rediscover the natural movements which many of us have lost through modern lifestyles. Join Helen The Wild Coach on the 1st of May for this free Primal Movement session in the park, 10-11am.

Summer Games

Boultham Park sports facilities will be open from May 28th until the 4th September. You will need to bring your own equipment. No booking is required, but we do ask that you are considerate of anyone who is waiting.

Easter Crafts

Get creative and celebrate Easter with our craft workshop where you could make anything from and Easter Bonnet to an Easter tree to decorate your head or home! Meet at 1pm at the Boultham Park Cafe on Wednesday the 13th of April. There is a charge of £3.50 per child for this event and booking is essential. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This activity is aimed at children aged 4 to 13 years.

Disability Dog Walk

Join Pumpkin the Paralysed Puppy and her friends on Sunday the 10th April for the Disability Dog Walk in Boultham Park.

Willow Weaving

Join the rangers on the 7th April to get creative with some willow and come along and try your hand at making your very own objects to put in your garden or home. Meet at 1pm at the cafe, there is a charge of £3.50 per person and booking is essential for this event and is suitable for all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a Children’s University validated activity.

Family Fitness

Bring the family for some fresh air and free fitness at the park this Easter holidays! Anyone can join in, do as much or as little as you like, play some fun games, test your balance, strength and speed against your family, burn off some energy and feel fitter! From 10 till 11am at the Bandstand on the 5th and 12th of April. These sessions are free but please reserve a space to avoid disappointment.

The Beacon Magazine is back!

Boultham Park’s magazine The Beacon is back!! In the latest issue we take a look back over the last 2 years, including the Lake Restoration works as well as the events and activities that took place over this period – and a pull out poster with a timeline of the park from the beginning of 2020 to the end of 2021!

A limited number of physical issues will be available from the Boultham Park Cafe, you can also view it online or download it for yourself following these links.

‘Enlightenment’ the Illuminated Trail

Come and join us to celebrate the newly restored Lake at ‘Enlightenment’, the illuminated trail.

On Sunday 20th March drop by between 6 and 8pm to experience the lake in a different light. The entire path around the lake will be illuminated with different coloured areas, you will also experience our new living frame feature, and a magical floating light sculpture created by the local community from recycled materials.

Mindful Doodling

Come join our free, fun and friendly, ‘Creative Calm workshops’: a series of 4 mindful doodling sessions created to help you feel calmer, content, relaxed and ‘WOWED & PROUD’ of yourself too! Mindful doodling is something that EVERYONE can do, no experience is needed. You will be kindly guided by your doodling expert and mindfulness teacher Dr. Sands (MIndfulness Skills4Life).
