The Memorial Garden

A group of wonderful volunteers spent three days clearing the Memorial Garden opposite St Helens Church over the past couple of weeks. The initiative came from the County Council’s volunteer scheme headed by Lucy Russon, County Councillor Kev Clarke encouraged BPAG to apply for their support in clearing the garden and as can be seen in the pictures we were successful.

Al Brooks with the City Council’s volunteer group helped coordinate the work. It’s great when like minded people and organisations work together for the greater good of the community.

Many thanks to everyone involved.

Now the hard work starts as we need the support of local residents to keep it cleared.

(Please contact Al Brooks on 01522 873458 if you are able to help)
